Hello everyone! The CBSE has made a minor adjustment to the Class 10 and 12 Board Exam 2026 datesheet. Examinations scheduled for March 3, 2026, have been postponed due to administrative reasons. The rest of the schedule remains unchanged. This update was issued via a circular on December 29, 2025. The revised dates will also be mentioned on admit cards.
Postponed Examinations and New Dates
- Class 10: Exams on March 3 (minor languages and elective subjects like Tibetan, German, NCC, Japanese, Spanish, Kashmiri, etc.) are now rescheduled to March 11, 2026.
- Class 12: Legal Studies paper is now on April 10, 2026.
Overall Datesheet Unchanged: The full exam window is from February 17 to April 2026. Only subjects on one specific date have been shifted.
Why the Postponement?
CBSE cited administrative reasons. No festival or other specific cause was mentioned. Schools have been instructed to inform students and parents promptly.
What Should Students Do?
- Check the revised datesheet on cbse.gov.in.
- Confirm new dates on admit cards when issued.
- Continue preparation – only a few subjects are affected.
- If your subject is impacted, use the extra time for better revision!
